The Conservation History Association of Texas is sponsoring the Texas Fauna Project, an illustrated exploration of the history and future of our relationship with animals and the natural world. The raw materials for the Project are shown here. The information will be archived at the Briscoe Center for American History at the University of Texas – Austin, and used for a manuscript for Texas A&M University Press. The manuscript is currently being assembled into an illustrated book, due out in the first half of 2027.
