Barbara Keller-Willy, a Master Naturalist and founder of the non-profit Monarch Gateway, has been heavily involved in propagating and sharing native milkweed to support monarch populations. She was concerned that the tropical milkweed commonly available in nurseries caused serious problems for the monarch. Here she talks about some of the tropical milkweed's impacts on the monarchs migrating through Texas.
