Dean Keddy-Hector is a biologist who worked at Texas Parks and Wildlife during the '90s, in a time of great turmoil over regulation of endangered species, including the golden-cheeked warbler. Here he tells about his later work for Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility, a non-profit that sought to support and protect government staff caught within agency controversy and unaccountability.
