Tim Jones is a photographer, videographer, researcher, environmental activist and land steward currently based in Wimberley, Texas. Beginning in the late 1980s, he documented habitat damage and water pollution associated with development in the western outskirts of Austin, calling attention to the threats against golden-cheeked warblers, black-capped vireos, and a variety of spring salamanders and cave invertebrates.
