Dr. Wilcox is a cultural geographer who is a research fellow at the University of Texas at Austin, adjunct faculty at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and a Texas field conservation representative for Defenders of Wildlife. In her work for Defenders of Wildlife, she focuses on policy and outreach on behalf of the ocelot, as well as other creatures.
