Rick Taylor is a wildlife biologist based in Uvalde who worked at Texas Parks and Wildlife for 27 years. He also wrote the book, On Wild Hogs and Javelinas: History, Biology, and Hunting, as well as other works on bears, deer, shrubs, cacti and other plants.
