Mike Forstner is a professor in the Department of Biology, as well as a Curator of Vertebrate Collections, at Texas State University in San Marcos. He is interested in molecular systematics in species conservation, and has studied a variety of reptiles, mammals, and amphibians, including the Houston toad.
