Mark Meyers is the executive director and co-founder of Pleasant Valley Donkey Rescue. Based in San Angelo, Mr. Meyers and PVDR has sponsored a network of ranches and adopters for over 20 years to save wild burros that public land managers seek to remove from overgrazed habitats, and to find homes for domestic donkeys that are in situations of abuse, neglect, abandonment or hoarding.
