Louise Chambers is a purple martin student, steward, advocate and educator based in Corpus Christi. For more than a quarter century, she worked for the Purple Martin Conservation Association, and in recent years has promoted martins through educating visitors and summer campers at the South Texas Botanical Gardens and Nature Center.
