John Dorsett, is a wildlife biologist based in Athens, Texas. He worked from 1975 through 1980 for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service in southeast Texas and southwestern Louisiana trapping the few remaining red wolves, so that they could be studied, bred in captivity, and eventually released back into the wild.
