Emma Hickerson is currently based in Sydney, Australia, where she works with Geoscience Australia, but from 1997 through 2021 she served as Research Coordinator at the Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary. She also was heavily involved in study of loggerhead sea turtles in the northern Gulf of Mexico.
