David Sikes is a wildlife photographer and outdoor columnist who worked at the Corpus Christi Caller-Times from 1998 through 2019, and in later years has served as a writer and editor for the magazine, Saltwater Angler. Through his journalism, he has advocated for better protection and management of freshwater inflows, red snapper, and Atlantic tarpon.
