David Kilby is a professor of anthropology at Texas State University, and works as an archeologist with interests in pre-history and hunter-gatherers in North America. He is also the co-director of the Ancient Southwest Texas Project, which manages study of the Bonfire Shelter site, the location of an important bison jump kill.
