Dr. David Hewitt has worked at the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute in Kingsville since 1996, both as a professor, and beginning in 2017, as its Executive Director. During much of his career, his research has focused on white-tailed deer, particularly nutrition-related issues.
