David Diamond, Ph.D., is a plant ecologist who worked for over a dozen years for the Natural Heritage program at the General Land Office and Texas Parks and Wildlife, and later was with the Missouri Resource Assessment Partnership. Throughout his career, he has been in studying and mapping soils, plants, and ecoregions, including the habitat of the golden-cheeked warbler in the Texas Hill Country.
