Cathy Downs is based in Comfort, Texas, and has been a long-time educator and advocate for monarch butterflies and other pollinators, through work with the Master Naturalist program, Cibolo Nature Center, Native Plant Society, Texas Wildlife Association, Monarch Larval Monitoring Project, Monarch Joint Venture, Monarch Watch, and other efforts.
