Carl Franklin is president of the non-profit, Texas Turtles, a wildlife specialist at Love Field, and a former curator in Amphibian and Reptile Diversity Research Center at UT-Arlington. He has been active in research and educational outreach regarding alligator snapping turtles, as well as other reptiles.
