Dr. Gallaway is a fisheries and marine ecologist, and president of the consulting firm, LGL Ecological Research Associates. He has spent much of his career studying environmental impacts in the Gulf of Mexico, notably from the offshore oil and gas industry, and in researching the life history, ecological niche, and management of the red snapper, among other fisheries.
